So interesting- love to hear about all your plans and how they all come together. My husband is Zambian but we live in Canada and he has a farm in Ndola. Dream would be to build something there one day to live part of the year in.

I am so happy you found your way here Courtney and that you will build on your farm in Ndola one day. Zambia has the best weather and I am from Sweden so have an idea on how your winters are in Canada. Try to build, its worth it. Both for living your best life, and economically. And feel free to ask on so you can learn from our mistakes, that I am sure we will make. =)

I love this, Jenny, it looks so exciting. I'd love to see pictures of the chalet as it grows, and as the rooms take shape and identity. I'd love to hear about how you might get an alternative water source and other problems you have to overcome.

That makes me so happy June! Thank you, really, for you support. I will absolutely update about the chalet, cant wait until we can sleep there. And the water source is something we wish to do already this year, but boe hole, well, solar power pump.... its a constant discussion and decissions to make. One little thing at the time. Will update and write about it when we have deicided and are happy with that.
